Tuna and Spinach Pie

A comforting pie ideal for all seasons.  Thanks to mum for this recipe...and some other ones yet to come...  

You can freeze this pie and bake it on request.



Ingredients

2x 200g tuna cans
200g sliced black olives
6 large onions
1 anchovy can (optional)
2tbsp tomato paste
1 kg cooked spinach
1 can peas
black pepper
 
Method

Sautee onion until golden.

Add the cooked spinach, canned tuna together with black olives, anchovy and peas.  Cook for 10 minutes

Let mixture cool.

Roll the pastry and cover the baking pan.

Spread mixture and cover with another layer of pastry

Bake at 200C for 45 minutes.
